Once again, we will be distributing items at the building from 9am-4pm. Coffee, soft drinks, snacks and sandwiches will be available for those who come by and are also available to safety officers and utility crews. We need volunteers during this time to prepare food and also help walk with people through our supply tables to make sure they get what they need and assess whether or not they have greater needs.
There are several trucks loaded with furniture that will arrive around 3:30pm tomorrow. The donation is from churches in Tennessee. We need help to unload and then deliver some of the furniture to the families we have already placed in homes. If you can come by and help, please do. If you need to come late, call 256-232-2014 to let us know when to expect you.
Just a reminder, we are not dealing with clothing. Please keep that in mind when making or soliciting donations.
